GENERAL SESSION 3
Scaling High-Acuity Virtual Care by Using Your Core Virtual Hospital Program as a Chassis
Treating heart failure and asthma was just the beginning. As high-acuity virtual care grows, programs need a way to rapidly expand decentralized health care delivery in multiple arenas. The fundamental components of your hospital-at-home program can serve as a foundational chassis for this transformative model. By seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, medical expertise, and personalized attention, innovators can redefine the boundaries of high acuity care. This presentation will showcase how patients can now receive comprehensive medical treatments beyond the typical hospital-at-home care in the comfort of their own homes, including advanced use cases, post-procedural care, Emergency Room assessment and triage, concierge-level services, and advanced cancer care. Building these programs off a common foundation will foster a sense of ease and normalcy while maintaining the highest standards of care in this new decentralized ecosystem.
