Ila Mapp, DNP, RN, CCRN-K, Director, Advanced Care at Home, UNC Health
Ila Mapp, DNP, RN, CCRN-K has been enhancing her nursing craft for 28 years through travel nursing, bedside patient care, and leadership. In 2008, Ila joined the UNC organization advancing from clinical nurse to Nurse Manager. She has held a leadership roles within UNC Medical Center and UNC Health since 2013 with her specialty in critical care managing four specialty teams: Rapid Response, ICU Transport, Venous Access Team, and CVAD Liaison. Ila now serves as Director for Advanced Care at Home – an innovative utilization of technology providing acute care for patients in their homes. This model of healthcare incorporates the collaboration of internal and external community stakeholders inclusive of Paramedics and Home Health Nursing working together with the common goal of patient-centered care for the Triangle of North Carolina.
